Kids should be reading books that will help them in the world.  Books that have a meaning on them.  If the book is bad in the parents eyes there should be a sersership on the front cover of the book.  just like on a cd there should be one on the books we read.

there is nothing wrong with kids reading those kinds of books.  if anything the it may teach them that there are people out there that will be like that.  kids these days think that they are superman and that there is no one out there that will hurt them.  if they read these kids of books then maybe they will be more cautions with the people they hang around.
