I think that parents should let their children read as much as they can. If the book is offensive too someone then they can close it anytime they want. But reading books that have to do with violence, drugs, sex or anyother contridicting thing may help someone. It could help someone but giving them knowledge that they would like to know, read true stories about it so they can learn how to avoid it or how someone else overcame the issue. Therefore i think that parents should not worry as much and let their children read and engage in books as much as they can.
