i don't think that parents should be able to ban books period. They shouldn't have the right to tell thier kid what they can read, if the child is trying to further educate themself by reading then the parent should have no say in what they choose to read.

I believe that partents reserve the right to teach their children about violence, sex, drugs, and other things along that line. I think it is their responsibility for their children to know right from wrong, and also to inform their children about what is going on in the real world so that they are not completly oblivious to what is actually going on.
