Good Liturature?? #4
The banning of books i believe should be on smaller scales and for different reasons. Books should be banned based on the age group that will be reading them, not on the political of scientific veiws. A 3rd grader should probably not be reading a romance novel ment for older adults, so the book should not be banned eniterely, but only from certain childrens libraries. Another way to help with this would be to use the method video games use. There is a suggested rating on each game and if the person is too young for the suggested age limit, a parent must agree to allow the child to get it. This could work just as well on books in libraries.

The Mel Gibson (Patriot) Act #2
The Patriot Act of 2001 i believe is a nescessary move in portecting our country. People shoud not be afraid of the governement seeing what theyre doing if they have nothing to hide. The government doesn't do this for fun to laugh at what certain people may do with internet sites or library books. However, if someones usage of these things is suspicios, they have a right to investigate it for the security of our country. The people who are investigated wont be anyone checking out books about ponies or star wars or things like that. It's the people who have maybe checked out a few books on homemade explosives or been on sites about build your own bombs. Innocent people shouldnt be afraid of the Patriot Act.
