I believe that parents should have to read the books they intend to bar from the child. Many parents dont want there kids to read books based of the title of the book alone. Personaly i think it should be up to the kid as forwhat they should read and not read. Many people in america now are against gay marrige based of there religon, or just ignorent reasons, so because they dont like the idea they feel there child shouldn't. We should start letting the kids decide how they feel on subjects, and not just let the parents drill ideas into there heads.
