Quote #3)  I believe it should be up to the school to teach about drugs, sex and likewise.  A lot of kids do not listen to their parents and books that maybe contain first-hand or even fictitious experiances with said topics may be the best thing we can use to teach children about the consequences.

Quote #4)  I believe that parents should definately look into a book they want banned before they ban it.  Most people that want books banned have never read the book themselves.  Even if it is a subject they are strongly against, it's an opinion and may not be the same opinion everyone else has.  Most of these decisions come from ignorance...and decisions based on ignorance are never good decisions.
