I agree that parents should moniter what there kids watch on tv and what type of music that they listen too, because in todays society kids get the wrong impression from the way that famous people live their lives. Howevver i don;t agree with the parents on what educational books that they read. It's a proven fact that reading is good for you and that you learn from what you read. Why would parents care on what there kids are reading in school, I mean THEIR READING, kids are always to busy running around , being active doing things. Reading a book in english class can calm kids down and maybe even teach them a life lesson.

i agree with you. i mena ifyour kids reading a book you should be happy not discourage them from reading if they find something they want to learn or know about, i dont think you should tell them no.
