I agree that parents should moniter what there kids watch on tv and what type of music that they listen too, because in todays society kids get the wrong impression from the way that famous people live their lives. Howevver i don;t agree with the parents on what educational books that they read. It's a proven fact that reading is good for you and that you learn from what you read. Why would parents care on what there kids are reading in school, I mean THEIR READING, kids are always to busy running around , being active doing things. Reading a book in english class can calm kids down and maybe even teach them a life lesson.

I agree with the author , saying that the Patriot Act does danger the freedooms of thr Bill of Rights. Doesn't the first ammendment say freedom of speech, but the goverment also has too protect its country. And its not like they listen to every persons convesations every time they use the phone. So i guess im saying that we shoud have the Act, because i know that there at least trying to stop the terroists in the country. This one is tough but i rather be living safely in this country and have them listen to my calls every once in a while.
