i think parents should look into the books before they just go and stop their children from reading them, if you think about it it is rediculous that if a parent hears "harry potter is super bad!" on the radio so they go home and tell their kids their not aloud to read it. they should do some research on the book and make sure it really is horrible for their kid to be reading before they go ahead and tell them they cant.

I believe parents have the right to teach their children of drug use and sex because then the children get their parents imput on the topic. Also the kids get their thoughts on it. Parents should also let their kids read of such books that contain reality abotu drugs and sex. i know if i were a parent i would let my children read these types of books after i talked to them about the topics and when i felt they were mature enough to learn about them.
