Quote 3 which pertains to sex and violence in books and society. I believe that the books we read should be able to contain information on these subjects. Books may help students learn about how it is better to talk about issues regarding sex and violence. Books are a way to help teens start talking about problems facing them today.

Quote 4- I believe that parents need to start getting involved in the books their kids read before they ban them. Parents cant just go by what the critics say and what they hear in the news. They need to get the book and read it before they come up with a strong opinion either for it or against it.
